Proofreading

Proofreading is a procedure used to check your written work. If you want to be sure that you have rid your text of all spelling, grammar, syntax errors... you need to have it proofread. I can also check the layout of your document (see prices). I offer different methods of proofreading which can be found below.

• Correction with track changes on Word or OpenOffice. This option enables you to view the changes that have been made to your text. You will then be able to accept or reject them. You will receive two copies of your document. The first will have track changes activated and the second will be a PDF file with the changes already in place and invisible.
• Corrections marked in red are used when your software doesn't permit track changes or if you do not want to use that option. I will correct your document, marking any errors in red. You will not be able to see any deleted letters or words. You will also have to change the marked words from red to black.
• Printed work: If you don't want to use a computer, you can send me your document via the postal service. I will correct your document by directly adding annotations to it.
• PDF file: If your document is a PDF file, you will receive a separate document stating any mistakes or changes that you will need to make.
